Welcome to the Veterans Big Band
The Veterans Big Band is made up of musicians from the Royal Marines Band Service, the various regimental bands of the British Army, and the Royal Air Force Music Service — our veterans. Our mission is to celebrate and promote the music of the Big Band era, performed by these exceptional musicians, while also highlighting the Armed Forces Music Services as an inspiring and rewarding career path for young players.

We are a full 17‑piece Big Band with a vocalist, based in Lincolnshire and available for concerts and large events. You can watch recent performances on our YouTube channel or on the Media page.

If you’ve ever attended a concert featuring the Royal Air Force, Royal Marines or one of the many Army bands, you’ll already know the standard of musicianship to expect. By bringing together players from all three branches of HM Armed Forces into one outstanding Big Band, we can promise an unforgettable musical experience.
